Fibber McGee & Molly
Fibber McGee and Molly, one of the most durable comedies of radio's Golden Age, aired on NBC-Red, Tuesday 9:30-10pm. Written mainly by Don
Quinn and starring the real life husband and wife team of Jim and Marian Jordan, Fibber McGee was noted for its vaudevillian humor as well as McGee's infamous closet. The episodes represented here -- from the program's earliest days -- were broadcast on NBC-Blue, Monday 8-8:30pm and were sponsored by Johnson Wax. The Jordans were also featured in Kaltenmeyer's Kindergarten from 1933 to 1936.
