Program Eligibility Requirements:
- income must be at or below 300% of the current Federal Poverty Level
- must not be eligible for the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), Arizona's Medicaid program
- must not have other benefits which could pay for the medications
- must be HIV +
Additional Information and/or Requirements (known):
All individuals applying for ADAP are screened for AHCCCS eligibility. ADAP will provide up to 30 days of medication until eligibility is determined.
In Maricopa/Pinal counties, the Maricopa County Dept of Public Health Services Pharmacy distributes the medications. In other parts of the state, ADAP supplies drugs direct to designated pharmacies.
