Ed Wacks, Esq. is
an attorney who concentrates his practice in
Estate Planning and Taxation of Estates, Trusts
for Persons with Disabilities, Elder Law, Estate
Administration and legal matters involving Real
Property. Ed has more than 35 years experience in

ED WACKS was
admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1968; the
U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey in
1971, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1975. He
received a B.A. Degree in Economics with honors
from Rutgers College (1964) and his law degree
from Rutgers University School of Law, Newark
(1967). He is a member of the New Jersey Bar
Association Real Property, Probate and Trust Law
Section, serving on its Board of Consultors from
1983 to the Present and as its Chair in 1990. He
is a member of the American Bar Association, Real
Property, Probate & Trust Law Division, 1970
to the Present.
Among his other
honors and distinctions, he is: Municipal Attorney
for Rockaway Borough,Allamuchy Township,and
Frelinghuysen Township; Former Member & Chair
of the New Jersey Supreme Court District X Ethics
Committee-1983-1985 (Chair,1985); a Member of the
Morris County Bar Association (President, 1988),
New Jersey State Bar Association and the American
Bar Association.
From the
beginning of his professional career, he has
assisted more than 2500 families in planning their
Estates and in saving those families millions of
dollars in estate taxes.He has also advised
families on how to address issues concerning the
elderly. He is assisted by expert associates who
are specially trained in the fields of accounting
and tax law.
MR. WACKS has
been recognized as a real estate, probate and
trust law expert, an expert on legal ethics, an
expert in banking law, mortgage banker &
broker law, and in title insurance matters by the
Courts of New Jersey, both Federal District Courts
of New Jersey, and by the Office of Administrative
Law. He has qualified as an expert before all
these tribunals.
