Commitment to Privacy. SeniorMag recognizes the importance of your personal information and is committed to protecting your privacy. We have created strict policies to protect your personal information and your family's information.

Your information is protected with technological and physical security measures. Your information will not be sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to others without your consent except as set forth in this Privacy Statement.

Please read this Privacy Statement which details how your information is secure, what types of information we collect and why, and how we may use such information. After reviewing this Privacy Statement, if you have any concerns or questions, please contact us.

Security. We safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information by storing information on servers that use a firewall to protect against on-line intruders and by security guards and surveillance cameras 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to protect against physical intrusion.

Information about Google advertising on our site:

  • Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site.

  • Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

SeniorMag collects registration information. When you register to become a member of SeniorMag, we ask that you to select a unique user name and password (which you may change at any time).

This allows us to authenticate each user to protect against unauthorized use of your account and information. We also ask that you provide your name and email address. This allows us to contact you in case you forget your password, and to send you our newsletters, administrative notices, product offerings, and other information related to your use of this Web site.

SeniorMag will only contact you with regard to the above situations.  You may choose to opt out of such contacts by clicking on the "Remove" link at the bottom of any newsletter or other email communication that may be sent.

SeniorMag collects selected computer information. Each time you visit the SeniorMag Web site we collect basic information about your Web browser (such as the type and version) and operating system (Windows 98, for example).

This information is summarized (not linked directly to you) to allow us to design a better Web site. We also collect your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web site, and to keep track of how many people are using the Web site.

SeniorMag uses "cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your computer, commonly used by most Web sites. Cookies may also be used to let us know that you found our Web site through a particular link or Web site, and allow us to retrieve information that you previously provided to us without your having to re-enter such information.

If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here.

SeniorMag measures outcomes. In order to improve our Web site, we occasionally conduct surveys and other studies. Results from our surveys and studies may be shared with others in aggregate summary form and will not contain any information personally identifiable to you. For example, we may report the percentage of SeniorMag users who are female.

SeniorMag conducts contests. Occasionally we may offer contests that require personal information including your name and email address. Conditions of entry into any contest will be clearly indicated and your consent will be requested. You can always choose NOT to participate in these contests.

SeniorMag works with other partners to provide you with valuable information. SeniorMag allows highly credible, highly trusted organizations to provide content or sponsor pages that we feel provide a valuable service to our users. Sponsorship will be clearly posted on each page as applicable.
